SOCAR Fiber Network

SOCAR Fiber network will start on the east part of Turkey; from the Georgian border extending all the way to the Greek border on the West and it will be approximately 1850 km of length. This project is very important for Turkey, Azerbaijan and the rest of the region because of being a new and strategic investment. Once in place, this new infrastructure and the services it brings will provide a great advantage to telecommunication companies in Turkey and the entire region, thanks to access to its globally competitive data transmission speed.

Socar Fiber Network starts in Ardahan, the eastern-most city of Turkey and ends in Edirne on the West. It will pass through 67 provinces and a total of 20 cities including Ankara, Bursa and Eskişehir. Designing and planning works are underway in order to connect the network to Istanbul.

Socar Fiber Network is planned to be taken into service after completing design and construction works.

It will pass through 20 provinces including Ardahan, Kars, Erzurum, Erzincan, Bayburt, Gümüşhane, Giresun, Sivas, Yozgat, Kırşehir, Kırıkkale, Ankara, Eskişehir, Bilecik, Kütahya, Bursa, Balıkesir, Çanakkale, Tekirdağ, Edirne and will end in Turkish Greece border Edirne İpsala.
